Shopping in Europe (IKEA)
IKEA uses EU sizes (e.g., 160x200cm) even in some non-EU countries. An EU King (160cm) is wider than a UK King (150cm) but narrower than a US Queen (152cm). Always measure width!
Shopping in the US
Watch out for California King. It's longer (+4") but narrower (-4") than a standard King. Standard King sheets will be too loose on the sides and too short at the foot.
